Illustration "Chadwick Boseman: Wakanda Forever (1976-2020)"

I created this work in 2020 as a tribute to the memory of actor Chadwick Boseman, who played the role of Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His sudden death made a strong impression, so I wanted to immortalize the image of the hero with whom he is associated.
The center of the composition depicts Black Panther in a characteristic pose with crossed arms, symbolizing strength, dignity and heritage. Graphic accents are combined with gouache painting, and the main color scheme is built on numerous shades of blue, which emphasize the atmosphere of peace and solemnity. The inscription “Wakanda Forever” and the years of the actor’s life are added at the bottom, which enhances the memorial nature of the work.
