Project: "The Aesthetics of Conscious Eating" — Instagram carousel in the style of Quiet Luxury
Niche: Nutrition, Healthy Lifestyle (Wellness), Lifestyle Blog.
Format: 10-slide educational Instagram carousel (format 9:16).
Role in the project: Development of visual concept, rewriting and styling of text, art direction.
Task (The Challenge)
Transform a standard informational article about food myths into premium, visually "expensive" content for Instagram. It was necessary to move away from typical clichés of "diet" publications (measuring tapes, loud colors, aggressive emojis) and create a product that conveys calmness, expertise, and self-love.
Solution (The Solution)
The aesthetics of Quiet Luxury and Old Money were chosen as the basis. This allowed shifting the focus from prohibitions and restrictions to the enjoyment of quality food and conscious choice.
1. Tone of Voice (Copywriting):
• Text transformation: Categorical phrases and complex terms were replaced with calm, scientifically grounded, and refined text.
• Structure: Each slide was divided into a problem (debunking the myth) and a clear practice (what exactly to do), so the content was not only beautiful but also maximally applicable.
2. Design System and Visual:
• Color palette: Deep, muted natural shades — creamy background (as a base), olive, chocolate, and graphite for text. No neon colors or visual noise.
• Typography: Elegant contrast of fonts. Classic serif for headings, adding a magazine aesthetic, and minimalist grotesque for the main text for ease of reading.
• Photo style: Instead of stock photos of people — atmospheric macro shots of products (a drop of olive oil on bread, a crystal glass of water, avocado texture). Emphasis on light-shadow play and a large amount of "air" (free space) in the frame.
Project Structure:
• Slide 1: Magazine cover with an intriguing headline.
• Slides 2-8: Analysis of 7 key myths about carbohydrates, fats, breakfasts, and superfoods.
• Slide 9: "Philosophy of Balance" — emotional and meaningful reinforcement of the material.
• Slide 10: Call to Action with motivation to save the post and share thoughts in the comments.
Result
An aesthetic, substantive, and publication-ready series of vertical cards that enhances audience loyalty, establishes the status of the expert's personal brand (or blog), and stimulates saving/reposting due to high visual culture.
