In this example, a layout of an e-book is presented, adapted for comfortable reading from the screen. To comply with copyright, only a fragment of the publication is shown in the portfolio.

When creating the electronic version of the book, special attention is paid not only to the design but also to the convenience of navigation and reading.
The layout demonstrates:
- design of the title and service pages;
- uniform margins and page numbering on one side for comfortable reading from the screen;
- visually separated headers that do not blend with the main text while scrolling through the document;
- settings for fonts, line spacing, paragraphs, and indents;
- design of sections and subsections, lists, tables;
- professional layout of the content with links to the relevant section of the book;
- active links (QR codes, web links, etc.);
- section bookmarks for quick navigation in PDF readers;
- preparation of an interactive A5 PDF file, equally convenient for reading on a computer, tablet, and smartphone.
While working on the book, I also check the formatting, eliminate minor technical flaws, control the consistency of styles, and the overall neatness of the layout, so that the e-book is not only beautiful but also maximally convenient for the reader.
Cost of typesetting: from 60 UAH per page of the layout depending on complexity.
The final cost depends on the specifics of the manuscript, including:
- whether the text already has formatting or needs to be created;
- the presence and number of tables, images, diagrams, QR codes, footnotes, and other design elements;
- the need to create or refine the content, headers, numbering, styles, and navigation;
- the volume of additional work to prepare the book for printing or to create an interactive electronic version.
