Mood. Harmony of Contrast
I created this work as a study of human mood and inner states. The main idea is to show the multifaceted nature of female emotionality through the combination of contrasts of light and shadow. I used black-and-white portraits to emphasize the depth of gaze and emotions, while purple elements serve as a symbol of dreaminess, transformation, and inner energy.
The butterflies in the composition symbolize change and personal development. The smoky purple effects add a sense of mystery and movement, as if emotions materialize in space. I added geometric shapes to create a modern style and balance between the chaos of feelings and the structure of thoughts.
The title "Mood. Harmony of Contrast" emphasizes the main idea of the work — the harmony of opposites. Through the contrast of the dark background, light faces, and bright accents, I wanted to convey that a person's mood consists of different states that together create wholeness.
This work for me is about the inner world, the variability of emotions, and the beauty of contrast.
