The situation:
A customer with his own online store of jewelry and accessories from Korea came to me, as well as two local sales points in the shopping centers of Dnipr and Kiev.At the beginning of the work of sales from the online store the customer actually did not have.The task was to bring the first sales and to date the cumulative (ROAS) > 400%.My actions:
1 Preparation
Having already experience working in this customs, I have done a thorough analysis of the competitors and the customer’s website to find the reason for the lack of orders.The main reason for the problems with sales we have identified the lack of product description.2 The launch
When the site got the first lines, I launched an ad in Meta Ads.The first day we received a few orders, but later they found out that they were fake.This situation has not changed over a certain period of time until we have conducted a re-analysis of the site.After reviewing the landing machine we found materials that entertained the customer after the purchase, but could be perceived by the algorithms as "sensitive".I assumed that because of this Facebook could lower our advertiser rating, and show our ads less quality auditories.It was decided to remove this material, as well as to make a new business page, a advertising office and put a new Meta Pixel on the site.After that, the advertising results began to improve.
3 Full-scale war
After 24.02.2022 the online store ceased to sell its goods due to the armed aggression of Russia against Ukraine.We suspended our advertising activity and returned to it in June of the same year.It is worth understanding that as a result of the missile attacks and the marriage of the Russian military, the off-line store in Kiev was destroyed and agreed to close, and the store in Dnipr hardly occupied himself.As a source of traffic we chose Google Ads.After collecting the most targeted keywords and forming a feed of data, we started advertising in the Search Network and Google Shopping.4 Results
We are currently running advertising activities in Google Ads and Meta Ads.The customer changed the platform for the site to the Ukrainian analogue Shopify.Thanks to the gradual transition and the preparation of the advertising office, we managed to make this moment useless for the customer’s business.After the transition, the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and the site increased.The budgets have also increased, thanks to the effective implementation of which we have been able to get out on the ROAS >500% per month from both traffic sources.
