Mermaid Character

This project is dedicated to the development of an original mermaid character with an emphasis on emotionality, the plasticity of forms, and an expressive silhouette. The image combines features of a sea creature and human appearance, creating a balance between beauty and a slight sense of threat.

The design includes a full-body character and variations of facial emotional expressions, allowing for a better revelation of character. The shape of the fins, the texture of the tail, and the plant elements in the accessories emphasize the connection to the underwater environment. The color palette is built on muted cool tones with warm pink-purple accents, adding depth and atmosphere to the image.

Project goal:
To demonstrate skills in creating a cohesive character design — from the overall silhouette to facial details and emotions, as well as the ability to work with fantasy creatures and stylized anatomy.
