Project: OLX Sniper Bot — Asynchronous e-commerce parser

Stack: Python 3.10+, Aiogram 3, Aiohttp, BeautifulSoup4, SQLite, Asyncio, Linux.
Project description: Developed an automated monitoring system for the marketplace (OLX) for the reselling niche (Resell). The main goal is to surpass manual search and instantly notify the user about the appearance of liquid goods (iPhone, MacBook, PS5, iPad).
Problem and solution: Profitable offers are bought out within 1-2 minutes. Manual monitoring is ineffective due to the human factor and the large number of "junk" listings. I created a "sniper" bot that reduces the response time to a new listing to 5-15 seconds.
Technical implementation and achievements:
Architecture: Implemented a fully asynchronous core on Asyncio and Aiogram 3. This allows the bot to simultaneously parse pages and process user requests without blocking.
High speed: Achieved a check interval of 15 seconds thanks to the use of Aiohttp and sorting by created_at:desc. The bot sees listings before they appear in the standard output of the site.
Smart Filter 3.0: Developed a custom filtering algorithm that filters out 95% of spam. The logic includes:
Title analysis: ignoring stop words ("rental", "icloud", "case").
Dynamic price thresholds: for example, ignoring PS5 cheaper than 3000 UAH (cutting off games and accessories).
Categorization: distinguishing between the main device and peripherals.
Business logic (VIP): implemented a monetization system. Subscription terms are controlled through SQLite. The interface is dynamic: parser control buttons ("Start"/"Stop") appear only for active subscribers.
UX/UI: Implemented "Magic Links" for automatic generation of payment reports, simplifying interaction with the client.
Deployment: Set up stable operation 24/7 on a Linux server using screen.
Result: Created a stable tool that gives the user a competitive advantage in speed and automates routine searches, filtering out irrelevant content.
