The client came with incorrectly configured conversions. He had search and shopping campaigns set up that were operating at a loss for the business. I built an action strategy to reduce the cost per conversion, increase the conversion rate, and attract relevant traffic: I set up GTM, installed Google Analytics through GTM, created user audiences that interacted with the site (for further use in remarketing campaigns). In GTM, I created conversions that are tracked correctly. After that, shopping campaigns were created for 2 categories of the site (beds and kitchen corners).
