Setting up Stripe, Apple Pay, and Link for business in Poland
Problem: The client was losing over 50% of conversions on Instagram and Telegram due to incorrect functioning of Apple Pay and a Stripe Link error ("Something went wrong"). The buyer was forced to manually enter card details, leading to cart abandonment.
What was done:
• Fixed Apple Pay on Instagram: Resolved the conflict issue of the Instagram In-App Browser with payment gateways. Set up a stable transition for proper Face ID functionality.
• Eliminated the Stripe Link error: Conducted a full audit of settings in the Stripe Dashboard (Polish account). Verified the Webflow domain and set up payment association, which removed the technical glitch during autofill of data.
• Optimization for Telegram: Set up native payment through Stripe in the Telegram bot, allowing customers to pay with one click without leaving the messenger.
Result:
• Payment time reduced from 2 minutes to 10 seconds.
• Technical errors "Something went wrong" completely eliminated.
• Implemented a seamless payment experience (1-Click Pay) for mobile users.
