Tabs for product category
They approached with the task of creating a user-friendly navigation for a large catalog of industrial products. They had over 500 items in just one category, and people were simply getting lost in such a quantity. It needed to be something simple and intuitive so that the client could find the required product in a couple of clicks.
I took the idea of a tire catalog as a basis — there, people are used to selecting products by characteristics — and adapted it to the specifics of tools and chemicals. I created eight main categories: sealants, adhesives, lubricants, tools, fasteners, protection, automotive chemicals, measurement. The user opens the required tab and immediately sees a list of products with characteristics and can go to a specific page.
I made it fully responsive — it works on both computers and phones. I added swipes for mobile, keyboard navigation, and support for bookmarks via URL. I used clean HTML/CSS/JS without unnecessary libraries to ensure fast loading and easy integration into their website.
Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive layout.
