Technical optimization and updating of the catalog for the site wigs.lv
About the project:
Wigs.lv — an online store. The main task was to bring the "Contacts" page to a technical standard and conduct a full audit of the product catalog of the brand Ellen Wille.
Completed works:
1. Technical SEO and Microdata:
• Implemented LocalBusiness microdata (Schema.org) to improve Google search results.
• Optimized the clickability of phone numbers (tel:) and email (mailto:).
• Added aria-label for compliance with accessibility standards.
2. Development and security:
• Configuration and testing of contact forms (Contact Form 7).
• HTTPS audit: removal of Mixed Content and checking data transmission security.
• Correction of page responsiveness for mobile devices.
3. Content management:
• Audit of 282 product items.
• Synchronization of the assortment with the manufacturer's website (removal of discontinued models).
• Updating pricing policy according to new price lists.
• Setting up redirects to preserve SEO traffic after the removal of product cards.
Result:
The website fully complies with the technical requirements of search engines, the catalog is updated, and the contact forms work correctly and securely.
