Geochemistry of Forest Landscape
The forest landscapes are formed in conditions of excessive moisture with a washing water regime and are represented from the moderate to the equatorial belt. There is active water migration of chemical elements. The output of chemical elements is opposed by a biological barrier. In the structure of the biomas is distinguished a multi-year overground part (more than 70%), the biomas is the highest compared to other groups of landscapes, but the area per unit of weight of the plants is low.Prevails the acid reaction of soil and the acid class of water migration.Geochemistry of the landscape and health care.Biogeochemical endemies in the forest landscapes of the tropics and in the area of the equator have not been studied sufficiently. There is information about the low content of many nutrients for plants, which is manifested in a change in the color of the leaves, vessels in the straw and wings, an abnormal development or a slowdown in growth.Particularly often suffers from the lack of nutrient elements citrus and oil palm. The deficit of nutrient elements is reflected in the growth and productivity of animals. The impact of the deficiency of certain chemical elements and compounds on the state of health of the population is better studied.High temperatures and moisture contribute to the elimination of potassium and sodium salts from the body, leading to muscle and mental fatigue, the depletion of the nervous system. The content of salt acid and pepsin in the stomach juice is rarely decreased, which may be the cause of the widespread in the wet tropics disease of the “diminated acidity of the stomach juice.”The iron of the plant is weakly absorbed. The main source of it is meat, the consumption of which is small among the individual groups of the population, so the common is lack of food. With insufficient penetration of direct solar radiation, a possible calcium deficiency, which became the cause of insufficient physical development of the African Pigmeus tribe.
