Virtual Lookbook: Integration of real clothing on AI models
In this project, I demonstrated the Virtual Try-On technology, where real wardrobe elements (from underwear to complex jackets with ethnic prints) are transferred onto generated digital models. This is a full replacement for traditional photo shoots, allowing the brand to obtain professional content for the website and social media, using only photos of the clothing itself.
What was implemented:
Development of custom models: Creating unique appearance types for the specific target audience of the brand (from athletic male looks to sophisticated female outfits).
Digital fitting: Accurate transfer of the cut, texture, and print of real clothing onto the AI model, taking into account body anatomy and fabric folds.
Location generation: Creating atmospheric backgrounds (wheat fields, classical architecture, lofts) that emphasize the mood of the collection.
Lighting & Shadow Integration: Applying realistic lighting to the clothing so that it looks organic in the new environment.
Technical stack:
Images: NanoBanana PRO, FLUX, and Midjourney for generating models and locations.
Editing: Professional work with layers and masks for a perfect fit of the clothing.
Upscale: Topaz AI for preserving the texture of the fabric and details of the fittings in 4K.
Business value:
Scalability: The ability to "shoot" the entire collection in 48 hours without involving a team of 10 people.
Savings: Reducing production costs by 5-10 times while maintaining premium visual quality.
Flexibility: Easy changes of locations or model appearances for different markets (content localization).
