Website for charitable donations based on CMS WordPress

The client approached me with the task of updating the existing website based on WordPress and WooCommerce. The main goals were: creating an intuitive extranet for both donors and fundraisers, transitioning to the Stripe payment gateway, and seamless migration of data from the old system to the new one while preserving important information — past transactions, user profiles, and fundraising data. The task also included updating the WordPress core and all related plugins to the latest versions.

In response, I implemented a custom extranet that takes into account the specific needs of both donors and fundraisers. Special attention was paid to integrating two levels of KYC verification directly into the registration process and in user profiles. The complex task of migrating gigabytes of data from the old system was carried out with maximum accuracy, ensuring the preservation of all critically important information. For creating fundraising initiatives, the CMB Forms plugin for WordPress was chosen. Utilizing its capabilities, I integrated custom fields with metaboxes, providing an effective and flexible solution for working with the database.
