We are looking for a full stack developer to complete the software part of the project. It is a small access control system which authenticates users and gives them the ability to modify certain properties related to access control, such as access codes and personnel information. The backend is coupled with a frontend which is used as an interface for backend. Key parts of the system are security and high availability. Most of the functionality is done at this point but some of the features need to be implemented and possibly improved. You will also write technical documentation of the system and perhaps change some of the functionality currently implemented to better fit the business requirements.
The work is expected to last 1-2 months and you will get paid by the hour. It is possible to do the project completely remotely. You will also get some guidance on the project by a former developer so you will not be completely alone (for example, if you do not understand some of the technical decisions made in the system). If you are chosen, you will at first visit us in Finland (travel expenses paid by us) for a meeting in which we will cover the system structure and further requirements.
