Test Project Laravel & Vue
For the backend use Laravel
For the frontend use Blade Templates but for all dynamic/java related elements use Vue. It does
not have to be a Vue single page app. Vue elements where’re they make sense are fine.
Purpose of the Project:
A user shall be able to login the system and fill in some data for insurance cases.
He shall be able to close the form and login again later to continue filling in the data for a case.
( even without hitting a save button at the end of the form -> so all inputs must be stored to the
DB when leaving an input field ).
Here are the fields needed in the form:
Page 1 ( or tab or toggle - whatever you want to use )
Case: Free input field
Make: BMW, Mercedes, Jeep
Model: if input in the field before is BMW, then 3 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series
if input in the field before is Mercedes, then C class, E Class, S Class
if input in the field before is Jeep, then Wrangler, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee
Milage: Number field
Buying Date: Datepicker
Page 2
Color: white, silver, black, other
Drivetrain: show this field only if he choose Grand Cherokee on page 1 and then let him
choose here between 2x4 or 4x4
Picture: Possibility to upload a picture
At the end of the form put a button with text “get quote” ( no function in the test project, just
close the case )
Rules for the form:
At input milage > 100.000 show an Alert “We can insure your car” and deactivate the “get
quote” button.
Design / Layout:
Up to you, you can just choose standard Bootstrap or whatever you like
Important:
Keep in mind, the system should be easy to adjust, like adding other car models or adjusting
the rules.
