In general, I like simplicity. Textuality (so that the title and subtitle are clearly readable, becoming the main element). I like a white background.

We are currently developing the front cover. Templates for the spread (with spine thickness) will be sent to the performer after the front design is approved.
A square version of this cover will also need to be developed.

I exclude: lightness, casualness, playfulness - anything frivolous and entertaining.

I also exclude academicism. Despite the subdued tone, it should not be dry, and the book should not look like a legal tome or textbook. The book contains anecdotal sketches and is written in a "I am your friend" style. The book is aimed at the average American, so it should contain colors, graphics, but in a subdued manner.
