Project brief for creating a character for a mobile application (retail)

Who are we? - We are a company https://www.leafio.ai/ - we specialize in the development and implementation of cloud systems to optimize processes in retail companies. We are currently developing a new mobile application called Leafio Super App.

Main task - Create a character for the company's brand in a corporate style.  The character illustration should be in vector format (.svg).  In the future, we will add animation; if you can work with this, it will be a big plus. 

We plan to collaborate with the winner in the future and illustrate the character in all the necessary states for us.

Base it on the brand book and provided references. This character will participate in communication with the user through the mobile application, meaning it needs to be depicted in various states, for example, when there is no connection in the app, when an error occurs, a request for geolocation, and more.

To start with, within the competition, we would like to see the character in the following states:

  1. The character greets the user (like waving hello)
  2. The character with a scanner in hand (scanning something with a mobile device)
  3. The character analyzes data (statistics, graphs, charts may be present) for the dashboard
  4. The character receives tasks or sets tasks, the process (for visualizing the task manager block)
  5. The character (for the geolocation request) possibly with a pin-location icon, etc.

The character will accompany the user during onboarding.

What do we like?
Simple, minimalist style, without unnecessary details. An example could be the cat from Monobank, the owl in Duolingo, “Oshchadyk” in Oshchadbank.

We would like to develop a character in the form of a leaf (association with the brand), but we do not limit participants and will gladly consider other character options.

Thank you all for your work! A lot of interesting things.
It is not necessary for the character to be a leaf.
The management prefers the idea that the character is from "retail," close to this field.
Perhaps it will be a typical hand basket from the hall, standing vertically in black glasses, and smiling businesslike - that would be fun. 
Or something else "typical" from the world of retail that immediately makes it clear "they are ours. they are from retail, they know what we live by and what we see every day".
A paper bag or something like that..
