Feedback-warning for designers (not the first time, I tried to be brief, it's impossible to describe everything).
The client is very complicated, completely not understanding what a technical task (TT) is, how to write it and why it is needed, although according to his activities he should know this at a professional level. The TT is unclear, incomplete, written in the form of a draft, as if for himself, like - do it, then we will figure it out and change it in the process.
The texts are "dirty," inconsistent, you have to extract and form them yourself, and that's if you understand what is written by hand or drawn in a complex scheme-puzzle.
All materials and edits are provided with delays and in the form of "garbage" (I apologize, this is the most accurate thing I can write) on the principle that the designer will find it himself, guess, apply his telepathic abilities, decipher and figure it out.
Deadlines - the meaning of this word is also not understood. He emphasized several times that the deadlines are !20 days, but in fact, after the main deadline, there were still no materials for a third of the catalog and many gaps in what was done. After almost 50 days (with the agreed 20), the client was still changing texts and providing new photos...
In response to my comments regarding the incomplete TT or edits, I was told that he "doesn't have time for this," that I should "put in more effort," and that I am doing "bad design" and he had a queue of designers for this work... how convenient... He completely does not understand that by writing a TT and providing proper materials for work, he saves time not only for me but also for himself.
The project description also does not match the scope of work. I cannot recommend collaborating, it's some unpleasant long-term quest, not work.
