On my part, I did everything I could to show ads in Google Maps with a pin-logo (fixed the error of linking Google Ads with Google My Business account, added the logo to all types of ad campaigns, checked the logo in the GMB profile, even added the logo to Google Merchant, tested increasing the daily spending limit in ad campaigns, set up 2 previously unused types of ad campaigns, and checked if ads with the logo on maps provide regular search ad impressions), and these logo ads occasionally appeared during my checks thanks to Google Performance Max ads.
The official response from a Google Ads representative regarding Google Map Promoted Pins: "These pins appear automatically if the system deems it valuable and may not always be displayed. There is no way to make it appear all the time."
Of course, companies like "Silpo", "Ukrzoloto", "Abrams", and others that often appear with a logo in ads on Google Maps have significant advertising budgets and could have used Local Ads long before 2022 when this type of ad campaign was not yet integrated into Google Performance Max. But under such conditions for displaying a logo pin on Google Maps, neither I nor the client can implement it.
