BankLocator: an application for finding ATMs with card integration
C#I developed a navigation application on Windows Forms that helps the user find the nearest bank branch or ATM. The program displays objects on the map, allows route building, and provides information about financial institutions.
What I did in the project:
- Working with maps: Integrated the GMap.NET library for displaying maps, managing zoom, and placing custom markers (pins) for banks.
- Geolocation and routing: Implemented the logic for building a route from the user's current position to the selected object. Added distance and travel time calculations.
… - Working with data (XML): Instead of a bulky database, I used XML serialization to store the database of branch coordinates and their descriptions (BankData.xml), making the application portable.
- UI/UX: Created a user-friendly interface with a side search panel and an interactive map, implemented filtering of objects by type (branch/ATM).

Scientific Forums: application for managing scientific articles
C#Developed a software solution for automating the collection and processing of materials for scientific conferences. The application replaces manual work with files, providing a single environment for submission, editing, and publication of scientific reports.
What I did in the project:
Working with documents (OpenXML & PDF): Implemented complex functionality for importing and exporting files. Used the Open XML SDK library for working with the DOCX format and PdfSharp for generating PDF documents, as well as a built-in editor with support for RTF formatting.
Access role model: Implemented an authorization system with clear delineation of rights. The "Author" has access only to their materials, while the "Publicist" can view others' works, leave reviews, and compile final collections.
… Database architecture: Designed a local storage on SQLite (via ADO.NET). Implemented two separate databases (logins.db and document.db) to separate accounts and content (articles and comments).
Commenting system: Developed a module for discussing articles, where reviewers can leave comments that are stored in the document's history.

Sports competition accounting system in C# (WinForms + SQLite)
C#Developed a software module for automating the work of the technical maintenance department. The application allows for the abandonment of paper logs and Excel, providing centralized accounting, searching, and changing the status of repair requests for equipment.
What I did in the project:
Data handling: Designed and implemented interaction with a local SQLite database through ADO.NET. Configured SQL queries for filtering and sorting requests.
Security: Implemented an authorization module with proper password storage — used hashing with the SHA256 algorithm (AuthHelper).
… UI optimization: Introduced a programmatic approach to generating dialog windows (DialogManager). Instead of creating a bunch of unnecessary forms in the designer, the login and request creation windows are generated by code, making the project lighter and cleaner.
Functionality: Implemented the full lifecycle of a request (CRUD): creation, searching, changing status (via context menu), and closing.

Video player in C# with database and YouTube API
C#I wrote a program on Windows Forms that allows searching for videos on YouTube, watching them in the application, and saving them to a personal library.
What I did in the project:
Backend logic: Set up interaction with the SQLite database through ADO.NET. All data (users, likes, comments) is stored locally.
Working with API: Connected to the YouTube API to obtain current content and metadata.
… Interface: Implemented smooth theme switching (Dark Mode) and an adaptive player based on Microsoft Edge WebView2.
