EnglishSooo, I always couldn't figure out how I can show my ability to translate something good, since there can be someone helping you, you've got Google and every other resource to support you with the task.
That's why I decided to write something - that can show how proficient I am in English, from my point of view - how I can build sentences and do whatever it needs to be done. I’ve been studying English all my life, I couldn’t even think straight in Russian or in Ukrainian, because even my thoughts were in English. I love watching movies or TV series in English, because I usually hate how the translation is done - it is hilarious when it's in English and basically dumb in Russian. I always had at least five other ways to say it differently to make it sound fun!
So that's a short story I wanted to write. Hope it creates a better understanding of the level of English I have.
