The task was to create a website clone and scrape data from the source. The contractor requested 12-16 days, and we accepted the offer for 16 days. We asked to do the work directly on the server so we could see the progress, but the contractor said, "I can start on my server and then we will transfer it to yours." After the 16-day deadline, every day he kept "feeding us breakfast" and promised to finish the parser, adjust the server, and upload the website to the domain, although we could see that no changes were made on the server. Even the domain was not pointed to the server.
At this point, more than a month has passed (the deadline was 16 days). There were extensions, time was added, and we were accommodating. In this month, we have not seen any results from the work; this is a terrible attitude towards the client. I do not recommend this contractor.
