Volodymyr Boychin was born in a village in Ivano-Frankivsk region. He studied to become a medic and, due to the distribution system, since he had not yet started a family, he went to work in Sumy region.
… Initially, in 1983, he arrived in Sumy. He completed his internship at the central city hospital, which was then located in the estate of Kharitonenkо on Dzerzhynska Street (now — Troitska), and a year later, on August 13, 1984, he started working as a therapist at the district hospital in the village of Nizhniy Sirovatka — in the historic building, which was also built by Kharitonenkо. After only a year and a half, Volodymyr Boychin became the chief doctor here. And he stayed. It has already been 39 years.
