Architectural Drawing Takeoff Specialist (Excel-Based FF&E & Millwork Pricing)

We are looking for a freelancer who can read architectural and interior design drawings and convert them into a clean, organized Excel format for pricing and quoting. The work involves reviewing floor plans, elevations, and detail drawings, identifying all fixtures, furniture, and custom elements (such as counters, shelving, cabinets, and metalwork), and extracting accurate dimensions, quantities, and basic specifications. The final Excel should break everything down into clear line items with sizes, materials (if shown), and notes for anything missing or requiring clarification.
This is a project-based role, but we are looking to build an ongoing relationship with one reliable person. As new projects come in, we will continue sending work on a consistent basis. Experience with millwork, FF&E, or construction drawings is important, as the goal is to create a practical takeoff document that can be sent directly to factories for quoting. Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret incomplete drawings and flag gaps is key.
Project Description:

You will be provided with full sets of architectural drawings (plans, elevations, sections, and details). Your role will be to review these drawings and extract all relevant information related to fixtures, furniture, and custom elements (such as counters, shelving, cabinets, metalwork, and display units).
The main deliverable will be a structured Excel takeoff file that includes:
- Itemized list of all fixtures / furniture
- Dimensions (W x D x H)
- Quantities
- Materials and finishes (if shown)
- Basic construction notes
- Clear descriptions for each item
- Notes for any missing, unclear, or conflicting information
This Excel file will be used directly in the factory quoting process, so clarity, accuracy, and organization are critical.
In addition to Excel, you will also be required to create a marked-up PDF set of the drawings for quoting purposes. This includes:
- Highlighting each item on the drawings
- Labeling key dimensions and sizes
- Identifying structure and key components visually
- Adding callouts so factories can clearly understand what is being priced
The goal is to create a complete and easy-to-read package (Excel + annotated PDFs) that can be sent to manufacturers without confusion.
Role Type:
This is a part-time, project-based role, with the goal of building an ongoing relationship. We are looking to work with one reliable person long-term and will continue sending projects as they come in.

3.1. Конструктор; дизайнер – експерт. Той хто на око виміряє виріб чи деталі, і внесе в таблиці. Той хто знає технології різних поколінь, різних виробництв, різних регіонів. Включаючи не тільки буд матеріали, різноманітну техніку та матеріали з деревин, а ще й будь які декоративні прикраси інтер'єру: статуетки, килими, картини, та будь що. Це те що буде у проєкті, чи архітектурному, чи інтер'єрному.
Ну і мати компетенцію ведення таблиць, бажано сертифікований. Бо самоучка по екселю тільки деякі шапочки буде знати.
