About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to build and maintain the server-side of our marketplace application, which will be used by both iOS and Android clients. You will design APIs, work with databases, and ensure scalability, performance, and security of our system.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs for iOS and Android apps
Design and manage relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Implement authentication/authorization (JWT/OAuth2)
Optimize server performance and scalability
Work closely with mobile (iOS/Android) developers to integrate APIs
Ensure security best practices in backend development
Write tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in backend development
Strong knowledge of Node.js / TypeScript (or Python/Java/Go)
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Understanding of mobile app workflows (how iOS/Android apps consume APIs)
Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
Nice to Have:
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of GraphQL
Experience in payment integrations (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
Marketplace or e-commerce backend experience
