Banners for the website

Technical task: banners for the online store (Khoroshop)
The website URL is provided upon request from the potential executor.

1) Purpose and context

• It is necessary to create minimalist, readable banners for the homepage and categories of the household chemicals online store.
• The colors of the banners should match the existing color scheme of the site (guideline: pastel shades, soft gradients, good readability).
• Language — Ukrainian.
• The texts are provided by the client. The designer works with the ready texts / CTA after agreeing on the technical task.

2) Scope of work and sizes

A. Main slider — 3 slides, in a unified style

• 960×432 px → @2×: 1920×864 px

B. Additional banners — 2 pcs.

• 480×216 px → @2×: 960×432 px

C. Category banners — 4 pcs.

• 720×216 px → @2×: 1440×432 px

D. Series of linear vector category illustrations — 20 pcs.

• 1200×1200 px

3) Style and references

• Style: minimalism, pastel / soft tones, clean blocks, plenty of "air", one main dominant (product or key advantage), short headline and clear CTA.

4) Fonts

• Base font (preferred): Montserrat — for consistency with the site.
• Alternative upon agreement: Inter or Manrope.
• No excessive letter spacing.
• Uppercase / lowercase — according to content.
• Text — readable.

5) Technical requirements

• Export: all banners — in size @2×.
• Formats: WebP (preferably) or JPG (quality approximately 70–80).
• Estimated file weight (as a recommendation):
  • hero / main slider: up to 250–350 KB
  • other banners: up to 100–200 KB
• For category illustrations, it is also desirable to provide PNG / WebP, and if possible — SVG.
• Outputs must have editable texts.

Preferred:

• Figma — one file with layouts and text styles; all texts / CTAs must remain editable.

Acceptable:

• PSD / AI with structured folders and editable text layers.

6) Process and revisions

1. Selection of visual references in the style of references + 1 test slide for the main slider.
2. Agreement on the concept of the main slider.
3. Execution of the entire set: 3 slides of the main slider + 2 additional banners + 4 category banners + 20 category illustrations.
4. Revisions — up to 2 rounds for each type of material.
5. Delivery: ready files for the site + output (Figma / PSD / AI) + short instruction on editing texts, dates, discount percentages, etc.

7) Acceptance criteria

• Compliance with exact sizes and formats.
• Good readability.
• Neat composition.
• Optimized file weight.
• Editable texts in outputs (not raster).
• Stylistic compliance with agreed references.

8) Legal block

• Copyrights for images and graphic elements used in the banners must not be violated.
• If paid images / illustrations are used, the executor must provide the client with confirmation of the right to use these materials (license, proof of purchase, etc.).

9) What needs to be delivered (final set)

• 3 files for the main slider in @2× (WebP / JPG) + editable output.
• 2 additional banners in @2× (WebP / JPG) + output.
• 4 category banners in @2× (WebP / JPG) + output.
• 20 category illustrations 1200×1200 px + output.
• 1 preview sheet (PNG or PDF) with the layout of all banners and graphic materials.
• 1 short instruction: where and how to change texts, dates, discounts, etc.

10) Organizational conditions

• Deadlines are agreed upon after the concept is approved with the executor.
• If approval from the client takes additional time, the execution time may be extended accordingly.
