Chatbot for website with database and AI
I want to create a chatbot to answer the most common user queries, calculate delivery costs, and process orders (there is an API already implemented, and it may need some adjustments for this task).
I am not yet sure what platform to use for the chatbot; on one hand, it could be a Telegram bot, but not everyone has Telegram, so I am also considering a classic option in the lower left corner of the website.
The database that the chatbot will access before providing a response should be constantly updated by another automation. I already have the logic in my head.
I see implementation on the N8N platform, as Zapier or Make seem less flexible in this regard.
Currently, there is no budget or detailed technical specifications, only a concept of how the AI chatbot should work and what it should do.

Assessing without a Terms of Reference (ToR) is impossible by itself.
You can do several integrations - Telegram, WhatsApp, chat for the website. Adding additional entry points is not a problem if there is an integration.
Another issue is loading current data. If there are too many of them, a lot of time will be spent in N8N on creating embeddings (a data format that the element interacts with during search), and it may need to be done with a third-party tool.
