What we’re looking for
We are currently searching for a creative copywriter who is dedicated to crafting excellent original content. As a member of the creative team, our copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the creative team to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging.
Thorough research and interviews will be required to understand each client's industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals. The most successful copywriter will be a quick learner with a versatile writing style.
Your job will be to engage the reader and motivate them to take action, such as buy a product or you may also write a copy designed to convey valuable information about a brand, technology or how to use the products.
What you would be doing:
Tailor the content and style of individual writing assignments according to their purpose - whether they are intended to sell or inform.
Understand your target audience, research your client's industry and their audience.
Work with creative teams to ensure that the visual elements complement the words.
Identify fresh and interesting angles for your articles.
Write copy for a variety of media including web pages, blogs and social media.
Edit your own and others' writing to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
Drive brand consistency across all company communications
Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment
What skills and qualifications do you need?:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
3+ years experience in content marketing or copywriting
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Knowledge of the beauty industry
Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
Great time management skills & Collaborative working style
Highly proactive
Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
Strong attention to detail
Perfect English
Excellent portfolio of work
Knowing the difference between British and American English
