Role Overview
We are looking for a Creative Video Editor to shape and polish our documentary-inspired films that bring consumer personas to life. These films combine long-form interviews, visual research, and artistic imagery to present not just facts, but human perspectives, cultural contexts, and the everyday realities of consumers.
The ideal candidate is both technically skilled in editing and artistically inclined—able to experiment with color, texture, and visual rhythm to elevate the material beyond standard corporate output. You’ll transform raw footage into compelling narratives that make research resonate with founders, investors, and product leaders.
Responsibilities
Edit and craft consumer persona documentaries: Assemble long-form interviews, b-roll, and research visuals into clear, compelling films.
Source and integrate visual research: Incorporate stock images, archival footage, and artistic material to augment spoken content.
Enhance storytelling through design: Use color grading, textures, and shapes to give each film a distinctive, artistic style.
File and workflow management: Organize assets, maintain version control, and ensure projects are delivered on time.
Rapid prototyping: Provide quick cuts and drafts for review, iterating efficiently with the research and strategy team.
Communication: Collaborate closely with researchers, strategists, and clients to align on story direction and revisions.
Optional / bonus: Animate titles or text overlays to enhance viewer engagement.
