Hello! I am looking for a structural engineer or an experienced 3D designer to create a preliminary 3D model of a construction fastener (a universal flat spacer for securing cables in a groove).

At this stage, I need a quality sketch concept (visualization) and basic drawing for evaluation by lawyers. The project will be further developed for the production of a mold (TPA).

What needs to be designed:
A flat elastic plate (fastener) with the following input data:

Product dimensions: Maximum length — 62 mm, maximum width (including teeth) — 40 mm. The base thickness of the plate is about 2.5–3.0 mm.
Side edges: Equipped with locking teeth inclined backward (harpoon principle). The spacing between the teeth should be uneven/variable.
Central part: A through cylindrical hole with a diameter of 4.2 mm. The front side must have a conical countersink (recess) so that the screw head is hidden inside the plastic. Surrounding the hole, there should be a slight thickening (stiffening rib) to prevent the part from cracking under pressure.
Top end: A flat platform for finger pressure with a fine anti-slip texture.

What is required as output:

A solid 3D model of the part in .STEP or .IGES format.
A simple engineering drawing (sketch of the overall view) in .PDF format, considering dimensions and annotations of elements.
2-3 quality renders (isometric, side view) on a clean white background for the patent application.

Important requirement: The performer must understand the specifics of plastic injection molding (TPA) and immediately incorporate basic casting drafts (0.5–1.5 degrees) into the concept so that the part is suitable for future production.

TECHNICAL TASK FOR DESIGNER (UPDATED)

Object: Universal flat spacer (mounting plate) for cable fixation in a groove.

1. Dimensions and basic geometry:

Sizes: Maximum length of the product — 62 mm, maximum width (including side teeth) — 40 mm. Basic thickness of the plastic — 2.5–3.0 mm.
Body shape: Flexible rhomboid (curved) contour that works on compression due to the elasticity of the material.
Side edges: Must have locking teeth inclined backward (harpoon principle) and variable/uneven pitch for reliable fixation in concrete.
Top edge: Flat platform for pressing with fingers or a tool with fine anti-slip texture.

2. Design of the technological hole (Important for maintaining elasticity):

In the center of the internal space of the rhombus, it is necessary to place a separate cylindrical barrel (sleeve) with a through hole of diameter 4.2 mm.
On the pressing side (from above), the hole must have a conical countersink (recess) so that the head of a standard self-tapping screw is completely hidden in the body of the plastic.
Compression requirement: The central barrel MUST NOT be rigidly connected to the upper and lower edges of the rhombus to avoid blocking the vertical compression of the part.
It should be connected to the internal side corners of the rhombus using two thin horizontal elastic plates (membranes/ears). During vertical compression of the body, these plates should bend, allowing the rhombus to freely deform in the groove.

3. Production requirements (TPA):

Consider the wall thickness around the hole to avoid sink marks during cooling.
Include basic casting drafts (0.5–1.5 degrees) for easy removal of the part from the mold.

4. Output formats:

Solid 3D model in .STEP / .IGES format.
General view sketch in .PDF with main dimensions and reference numerical designations of elements (1, 2, 3...).
2-3 quality renders (isometric) on a clean white background.

Ready to make this model for production with the drawing. However, I have a note that fixation using a dowel will be problematic since the connection of the contours with the washer will be through a spring, and this will not provide a rigid fixation.

ви хочете фіксатор дипольного типу чи типу фіксатора в штробі за рахунок упирання в стінки штроби. Бо у ТЗ зразу два типи. їх не можливо обєднати.

Вітаю.Щось у Вас не збігаєтся фото у додадку та опис.Я розумію принцип роботи кріплення яке у вас на фото,але я не розумію де там повинен бути отвір у центрі та заглиболення під потай.

мені треба концепція як на моєму малюнку але в центр треба добавити можливість кріплення шурупом . тобто маж бути можливість стиснути по центру зменшити розмір. вставити в штробу після чого зарахунок роширення буде фіксація. але якщо роширення буде не достань хочеться мати можливість використати шуруп
