DevOps with knowledge of Kubernetes
We have several important tasks related to updating our Kubernetes cluster:
Using remote APIs: Our cluster uses remote APIs, which prevents automatic upgrading to version 1.25. We need to update the code to resolve this issue and avoid functional failures after the upgrade.
Upgrading to version 1.25: The cluster will not be automatically upgraded to version 1.25 until the issues with using old APIs are resolved. Please check and update the API usage.
Node image migration: The current version 1.23 uses Docker-based node images, which will be automatically migrated to containerd images starting September 1, 2023. If we want to postpone the migration, we need to upgrade the control plane to version 1.24 and configure a maintenance exception.
