DevOps Task — migration of SaaS from on-premises to AWS

We are looking for a DevOps engineer to migrate a SaaS project (PHP) to the cloud. Initially, you need to perform a test task — set up pipelines and infrastructure for microservice, and verify their correct deployment in AWS Fargate.

After successfully completing the test task — collaboration on the full migration of the entire project and building CI/CD.

What needs to be done for the test task

✅ Take the existing PHP microservice (BitBucket)

✅ Describe and assemble CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI) – dev/prod:

• build
• lint
• phpstan/larastan
• testing (Pest)
• Docker build (+ upload to container registry)
• Trivy scan
• deployment in AWS
• spectral lint + openapi-cli validate for OpenAPI specification

✅ Write the necessary infrastructure in IaC (Terraform):

• AWS Fargate (autoscaling)
• external RDS (MongoDB/MySQL)
• Redis (Elasticache)
• VPC
• And others

✅ Configure observability:

• integration with Sentry (DSN via secrets)
• integration with Nightwatch
• logging in JSON format (timestamp, level, message, trace_id), with sending to BetterStack
• basic metrics via Prometheus/Grafana stack (in BetterStack)

✅ Add security checkers (Enlightn-security/Snyk/Fossa in CI)

✅ Create README (setup 1-2-3, migrations, test deployment)

• Hourly payment
• After successful test — long-term collaboration on the entire project
