Design of Two Drones for 3D Printing with Extended Functionality
✅ General:
Development of two drone models from scratch, focused on 3D printing and subsequent assembly. All components must be divided into parts suitable for home FDM printing (print bed size 200–300 mm). Mandatory: STL files, STEP files, and renders of assembled models.
🔹 Drone 1: Modular Drone with Bottom Blades
Tasks:
Design a drone body with an extended frame to support a load of 3–5 pounds (1.4–2.3 kg)
Include bottom blades that can be easily removed and reinstalled
Blades should be separate modules with a reliable locking mechanism (rotary lock, latch, or other solution suitable for 3D printing)
Outcome:
Approximately 10–15 components
STL + STEP + visualization
Focus on modularity, ease of printing, and assembly
🔹 Drone 2: Heavy-duty Drone with Water Spraying Module
Tasks:
Design a durable frame from scratch to hold an embedded water tank (with the possibility of replacing it with a modular one)
Implement a spraying nozzle (removable), which can be automated for continuous water supply
Balance weight, power, and stability in the air — consider the drone's actual lifting capacity
Features:
If the built-in tank does not allow carrying enough water, provide an option for a replaceable module
The nozzle should be easily replaceable and reusable
Outcome:
Approximately 15–20 components
STL + STEP + visualization
Estimate of water volume optimal for flight
📦 Result Requirements:
Formats: STL (for printing), STEP (for editing), render assembly
Components divided for FDM printing
🕒 Deadlines:
Sketches and 3D prototypes — 4–6 working days
Complete drone models — 10–14 working days

I am writing the justified project price here because:
1) the assignment involves two types of modeling: parametric and polygonal, and you need both,
2) it is necessary to select and agree on the material for the frame and other drone parts,
3) invent a spraying nozzle according to these technical specifications,
4) invent a fundamentally new drone design with the installation of lower blades,
5) optimize models for printing and freezing,
6) prepare an ergonomic water tank model (development by P.F. is not included in the price),
… All of this considering the flight qualities of the drone.
7) prepare sketches and models.
Total cost 500,000 hryvnias.
After clarifying additional tasks, the price should be discussed for an increase.
We can break the project into stages.

Заказчик готов оплатить расчет балки корпуса на прочность специалистом по САПР ?Какова мощьность двигателей и размер рамы дрона? Сколько литров воды должен нести тяжелый дрон?Как заказчик предлагает реализовать крутящиеся ножи ,чтоб они не отскочили от случайного препядствия и не повредили кого то?
Тут работы для инженера- разработчика на 2-3 недели для начала.А потом уже модель для 3D печати можно обсуждать. -
І справді, питань дуже багато, я навряд чи зміг 100% прорахувати усі навантаження та нюанси розміщення двигунів відносно центрів мас та системи крування, але для того щоб замоделити корпус, треба розуміти концепт розміщення всіх елементів на коптері: плати, банка, радіо, габарити вантажу, що саме мається на увазі про нижні лопасті (додаткові чи основні?) і т.п. якщо на бумажці намалюєте де шо має бути з урахуванням центрів мас, то звідси можна почати підбирати геометрію корпусу зовнішнього, що буде і візуально естетичним і масово-габаритним правильно. а в цілому спроєктувати повноцінний дрон (2) це задача навіть не для одного інженера, а як мінімум 3: електро-схемотехнік, конструктор-проектувальник і людина яка шаре як програмно компенсувати недоліки фізики дрона роботою двигунів. особисто взявся би виключно за корпус без візуалізації, тільки принципова 3д модель з підготовкою під друк і складання частинами.
