A designer/layout artist is needed to create a professional product catalog for the company HALMI.
The theme of the catalog: sliding gates and fencing systems for private homes, plots, and commercial properties.
The catalog will include several directions:
- Custom sliding gates.
- Metal fences and gates.
- Aluminum fences and gates.
The catalog is needed for a Spanish audience. It will be used for sending to clients in PDF, for the website, WhatsApp, presentations, and commercial offers.
What needs to be done:
— develop a modern visual style for the catalog;
— create a professional cover;
— think through the structure of the catalog;
— design pages with models of gates and fences;
— create neat blocks with advantages, materials, filling options, sizes, and contacts;
— prepare the final PDF;
— provide the source file in Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, or another convenient format.
An important point regarding visual materials.
I have real photos of completed works, product photos, examples of models, and technical references. However, for the catalog, it will likely be necessary not just to insert photos but to bring all images to a unified professional appearance.
What may be needed:
— retouching and processing of photos;
— removal or replacement of backgrounds;
— bringing different photos to a unified style;
— drawing gates and fences based on photos, sketches, or examples;
— creating neat visualizations of models for the catalog;
— preparing images so that the catalog looks cohesive, professional, and does not resemble a collection of random photos from sites.
That is, photos and examples will be provided as source material, but the final images should look like a complete product catalog.
The style needs to be modern, neat, European. A design in the style of a cheap advertising leaflet is not needed. The catalog should look like material from a manufacturing company that makes quality gates and fences to order.
It is important that the performer has experience not only in layout but also in the visual design of products: photo processing, drawing products, creating unified images for the catalog, working with technical or industrial goods.
It is desirable that the performer has experience in the following areas:
— product catalogs;
— brochures and commercial PDFs;
— architecture, exterior, construction;
— furniture, metal, gates, fences, industrial products;
— product catalog, brochure, lookbook, presentations for clients.
At the first stage, I want to create a test version: cover + 1–2 internal pages of the catalog. If the style, quality of visualization, and overall approach are suitable, we will continue working on the full catalog.
