Beauty Salon
1. PROJECT GOAL
To develop a universal design concept for a beauty salon with an area of 40–45 m²,
not tied to a specific location, with the possibility of quick launch during rental holidays.
2. BUSINESS CONTEXT
Segment: premium (not luxury)
Goal: high revenue per m² while maintaining comfort for clients and staff
Principle:
minimum investment in capital elements / focus on movable
Important:
The space should look expensive and unusual,
but be as economical as possible in implementation.
3. STYLE AND MOOD
Industrial / electro-aesthetic
Concrete, gray surfaces, microcement, imitations
Contrast:
Minimalism, order, sense of control
Cozy
Do not copy the finished project of the existing salon.
It is acceptable to take an accent color.
4. VISUAL PRINCIPLE
“INCOMPATIBLE + COMPATIBLE”
The interior should:
Requirements:
several visually different zones in one open space,
contrasts of materials, shapes, and light,
each zone = potential photo point.
Diversity is achieved:
through light, composition, and details,
not through expensive materials.

6. FUNCTIONAL LAYOUT (MINIMUM)
Must include:
Manicure — 3-5 workstations
width of one ≥ 80 cm
tables easy to clean, acetone resistant
Pedicure — 1-2 places
podium + water supply and drainage
Brows — 1-2 places
Reception + waiting area
Sterilization area — ≈ 2 m², isolated
Kitchen / staff area
Client toilet
Storage / warehouse (cabinet)
(combination with kitchen is allowed)
Open access to the sink (SanPiD standards)
Furniture:
chairs and armchairs that are easy to disinfect and wipe
(no velvet or complex fabrics).

7. ERGONOMICS AND COMFORT (MANDATORY)
The project must consider ergonomics, comfort, and safe distances between zones.
Mandatory:
sufficient passageways between workstations,
absence of a feeling of tightness,
comfortable movement for clients and staff,
correct door and passage dimensions,
absence of flow intersections.

Light is a key tool for creating a “luxurious” feeling.

Renovation: 600–800 PLN / m²
(goal — closer to the lower limit)
Furniture and accessories: 400–900 PLN / m²
