I am ready to implement the project on FlutterFlow, as you indicated, but as a technical specialist, I must warn about the risks of developing such complex functionality on a low-code platform:
Customization limitations (Vendor Lock-in): FlutterFlow is great for standard interfaces. However, your mechanics (Tinder-swipe, visual timers, complex map filters) will require writing a large amount of custom code in Dart. At some point, the platform may become a "bottleneck," and we will spend more time working around its limitations than on the actual development.
Performance of real-time functions: Location-based applications require very fast and stable memory and geolocation handling. The code generated by the builder is always heavier and less optimized than hand-written code. This can lead to "lags" during swipes or delays in updating user positions on the map.
Debugging complexity: Finding errors in chat and timer logic within FlutterFlow is much more difficult than in traditional development. If a bug arises at the intersection of GPS and presence confirmation, fixing it may take longer due to the platform's closed structure.
Dependency on third-party service: You become dependent on the functionality of the FlutterFlow platform itself and its updates. If the platform decides to change its policy or technical base, it will directly affect your project.
