В защиту начинающего архитектора, дом с другого ракурса. Ну где Вы видели такую будку для собак? Может современные дома вам напоминают спичечные коробки? Ну не всем же во дворцах проживать. Вообще оптимальная форма с экономической точки зрения - шар. Но в шаре жить не удобно. Поэтому собственно куб - следующая фигура по рациональности.
