22 USD I have a humanitarian project - I feed high school students, but I need to streamline the processes a bit, as there is sometimes chaos. Therefore, I am looking for a solution that will satisfy everyone: both the parents and me.
We have a Google spreadsheet where parents of students from 11 different classes enter their data. They order lunches in the cafeteria today for tomorrow. They are currently working in a shared spreadsheet and often accidentally edit their neighbor's data, and then someone is left without lunch 😔
It is necessary to divide it into 11 tables (one for each class accordingly) with the ability to provide access to each class, some password, or a link to their class (this needs to be thought through).
After the parents edit the information in their respective class, the information automatically changes in the general summary table.
It is also desirable to make it so that the data in the summary table does not change after locking the cells for editing. Currently, every morning at 9:00 AM, I lock the current day for editing, as after 9:00 AM, it is not possible to order lunch (the kitchen won't have time to prepare). But I also don't want parents to accidentally change something in their tables after 9:00 AM, which would change the order in the general file.
