1. Introduction:
Our company specializes in sewing fabric covers for containers in laundries. We already have a ready-made configurator that helps customers quickly and conveniently choose a cover that meets their requirements.
This technical task description (TTD) describes the refinement of an existing custom WordPress plugin that manages the operation of this configurator. The plugin is based on the doMenu plugin (https://mechanicious.github.io/domenu/).
2. Project Goal:
To address the existing shortcomings of the plugin, namely:
- Limitation of nested step depth:
- Increase the maximum depth of nested steps from 6 to 10 (bonus to make it configurable or unlimited).
- Ensure the correct operation of the configurator interface and logic at all levels of nesting.
- Instability of automatic stage generation:
- Identify and eliminate the reasons leading to the unstable operation of automatic stage generation.
- The plugin should automatically generate configurator stages based on the nesting of steps for stage names in breadcrumbs.
- Displaying an empty last stage:
- Fix the error where the last stage always appears empty.
- Ensure the correct display of the last stage of the configurator with all its content.
3. Project Timeline:
The project timeline will be agreed upon with the freelancer individually.
4. Payment:
The cost of refining the plugin will be determined after discussing all project details with the freelancer.
