I have studied your task on setting up FFmpeg conversion and SphinxSearch on the VDS server, including the instructions from the KVS forum.
I am ready to take on the work. The plan is as follows:
— Installation and configuration of FFmpeg
— Installation of SphinxSearch
— Configuration of sphinx.conf (MySQL credentials + paths to storage folders)
— Initial indexing and starting the daemon
— Setting up cron for automatic index updates
— Connecting the External Search plugin in the KVS admin panel
To start the work, the following will be required:
— SSH access (IP, login, password/key)
— MySQL data (host, database, login, password)
— Path to the installed KVS on the server
