Filters for custom post type (WordPress)
33 USD On the page https://knp2mp.goodwebstudio.com/likari/ you need to finalize filters for the post_type 'doctor' (Doctors). All posts and interactions are already in the admin panel, nothing needs to be done there. No need for layout. We only work with filter code.
- The first select - "Department" - is the post_type 'department', which is linked to Doctors using ACF Relationship.
- The second select - "Specialization" - is the categories of doctors ('taxonomy' => 'doctors_category')
- The third select - "Full Name" - is the_title of each Doctor.
Data for all selects is already being received, there are no issues with that.
Filtering only occurs with the first select - it works correctly. You can check by selecting "Family Departments" because not all departments have doctors added yet.
Filter reset also works.
What needs to be done:
1. Finalize filtering for the other two selects.
2. Add a "Search" field at the top of each select. An example of how this field should work is here: https://medcenter.lviv.ua/doctors/
3. By default, the first items (disabled) in the selects should be the filter names: "Department" "Specialization" "Last Name, First Name of the doctor". These items should also remain first after resetting the filters.
4. Filtering should follow the 'AND' logic - not only for doctor cards, but also for data in the selects. For example: if a specific "Department" is chosen, then in the other two selects, only the options corresponding to this choice should remain. And so for all selects in all filtering directions.
I am attaching several screenshots with code fragments for general understanding.
It is highly desirable to complete by Monday-Tuesday.
