- both in a temporary, quickly implemented project on Arduino Leonardo
- and in a full-fledged project with microcontroller programming (for example, FPGA), proper R&D tasks, and a whole range of sub-tasks that will arise later - of course, at clearly higher costs.
----------------------------------------------------------------
It is necessary to implement a physical device that will be completely identical to a certain computer mouse but will execute commands sent programmatically. That is, it is connected to
"controlling computer (1)" ---- "programmable board (2)" ----- "controlled computer (3)".
Of course, there are ready-made projects where (2) is an Arduino, which can be set up in 10 minutes. However, they do not meet the necessary conditions for this project, namely:
1) The computer controlling (3) must detect this device as a specific physical mouse. When asked "what is this HID device?" the response should not be "Arduino Leonardo," but something like "Logitech mouse"
2) The device must be able to receive commands from (1) and send back emulated signals, the same as those generated by a mouse. For example, in the case of Arduino, specific scan codes.
3) The operating frequency should match that of a normal mouse (minimum 125 Hz, or 250-500-1000 Hz).
------------------------------------------------------------
This will be used to control a poker bot. That is, the "controlling computer" sees the screen of the computer being controlled using certain methods, analyzes the data, and performs actions on the "controlled computer" via an emulated mouse. On this computer, there is software that tracks everything possible to fight bots, and it is very effective. Therefore, an emulation option is needed that cannot be detected at all, even in theory.
----------------------------------------------------------
Overall budget for the project is significantly higher - the scope of work is large if we talk about full implementation. I indicated only $600 because that is the limit on the site.

If everything is clear in correspondence, I will create a new project specifically for you, and during a call, we will discuss the processes. If you are well-versed in the matter, the interview will be paid. I have used this approach - from my experience, it is the best way to select a truly qualified person.
