This is exactly what I have specialized in for over 15 years. My experience in printing began at the RR Donnelley factory (a world leader in printing), so words like bleed, oversuit, CMYK, safe zone are my native language.

My approach to your book:
1. Systematic layout in InDesign: I do not "move pictures with the mouse." I will set up the grid, baseline of the font, and styles (Paragraph Styles). This guarantees that on page 5 and on page 95 the headings will be at perfectly the same height.
2. Color control: I will check all your illustrations for compliance with the profile (FOGRA39/51) so that bright colors on the screen do not become dull on paper.
3. Cover: I will create a technically correct cover spread taking into account the thickness of the spine (I will calculate for the specific paper).
