We are looking for an experienced and responsible full-stack WordPress developer who values clean and high-quality code, can create custom solutions without relying on numerous plugins and visual builders. Format: Full-time employment possible (remote), ideally based on New York working hours, based on the results of the first task.
Platform: WordPress
Priority: Clean, optimized code and minimal use of third-party plugins
Your responsibilities:
Developing custom WordPress themes from scratch (based on Figma design mockups)
Markup (HTML5, SCSS, JS) and integration with WordPress (without Elementor and similar)
Using ACF/ACF Pro for content management
Developing lightweight and understandable logic without excessive dependencies
Supporting and developing existing projects
Optimizing load speed, security, and SEO structure
Participating in technical planning and improving project architecture
Requirements:
Confident knowledge of PHP, WordPress API, HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), JavaScript
Experience working with custom themes (without templates and builders)
Experience with ACF, creating custom blocks and templates
Understanding principles of “clean” architecture, scalability, performance
Ability to work with Git
Proficient in Figma (for reading and adapting mockups)
Experience creating responsive and cross-browser interfaces
