I have set up i2pd on the VPS. Currently, there is foreign traffic going through it.
1) I want to configure an i2p Outproxy on this VPS, preferably with password access to the Outproxy. Only I should be able to access the regular internet through it (if the protocol allows organizing password access to the Outproxy)
2) The second point is not mandatory (I understand that not many work on Macbook)
I work on Mac OS, installed i2pd via Homebrew. It started, and I was able to access the admin panel. The browser on port 4444 picked up the i2p network, all is good. I found the i2pd config file but couldn't apply changes to the config. For testing, I edited the config file and set a password for the admin panel, but did not achieve the desired result. If possible, please suggest how to fix this issue on Mac. It worked perfectly on the VPS.
3) If we solve the second issue, then please advise how to configure i2pd on the Macbook to start using the Outproxy from the first point. If you don't work on Mac, then I will install the standard i2p GUI client on Java and resolve the issues from points 2 and 3 with that client.

I can help with the setup. As far as I understand, you have configured the outproxy for public access, which is not very secure, as illegal activities can be conducted through your tunnel. Therefore, it is necessary to change this setting for greater security, and as you mentioned, to add authorization.
