I am writing a series of 4 novels in the genre of dark romantic fantasy with elements of gothic, mysticism, and magic. The story centers around a heroine who uses living Tarot cards that can speak, interact with her, and even come to life.
I am looking for an illustrator for long-term collaboration, preferably from Ukraine, who can:
1. Create a cover in an atmospheric, gothic style (dark romanticism / dark fantasy illustration, with an emphasis on symbols: Tarot card, roses, swords, artifacts).
2. Draw internal illustrations for key scenes (rituals, magical moments, characters).
3. Develop an original Tarot deck (based on classic arcana, but stylized to fit the plot, with original characters and symbols).
The style I am looking for:
• Dark, gothic, emotionally rich
• Digital painting or stylized realism
• Experience in fantasy covers, magical art, arcana is preferred
• Good command of composition, decorative design, text integration
