**About the project**
An indie studio is developing a mobile sandbox/dress-up game in the style of Avatar World and Toca Boca — a bright, kind world for children, where players customize characters, explore locations, and play out stories.

**Role**
2D artist for ongoing content production.
You will be the owner of the game's visual language — characters, clothing, locations, props.
Looking for an illustrator who can maintain style over the long term, not just create one beautiful picture.
**Visual reference**
- Avatar World / Toca Boca / Sago Mini — chibi aesthetic
- Bright, rich, friendly palette
- Clean vector-style line art, soft shadows, simple shapes
- Cute, expressive characters
**What needs to be done**
- Character clothing, hairstyles, accessories — delivered as Spine-ready layered assets (clean separation of body parts and clothing)
- Backgrounds of locations
- Interactive props and items
- Icons and thumbnails of items
- Occasionally — marketing graphics (App Store / Google Play feature graphics, key art)
- Close collaboration with the Unity developer on asset specifications: resolutions, atlases, naming
**How we work**
- Long-term contract — during the trial period payment per asset, then possible transition to a monthly retainer after workflow and style are established
- Fully remote, founder in PST (Seattle)
- Paid test task (~$50–150) — one character outfit in our style
