I worked on a similar pipeline for a beauty application: I stabilized identity through a combination of InstantID + IPAdapter with face-aware ControlNet, removed "foreign" profiles during head turns using adaptive preprocessing reference - cropping based on the face with padding, rather than central cropping. The average drift on the face decreased by about three times, and side angles became usable.
What is the current format of the reference photo from the user - one selfie or a set of different angles? And do you have the capability to run ComfyUI locally, or only cloud APIs? This significantly changes what workflows are available.
