JavaScript Firebase/Saleor Headless/Material-UI Experts Needed

We’re looking for versatile JavaScript/Typescript developers, who will help build a new eCommerce platform, with a mobile (iOS) frontend, and a web-based Admin Interface for a startup in the fashion retail space. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key contributor to the project, design the backend and front and backend architecture and continuously improve web UI.

The backend of the application is based on the Firebase platform using Saleor as a Headless API system for the mobile application. We will also be integrating Real Time Video Conferencing and Chat into the platform so experience with additional SaaS offerings is a plus.

The backend will use Firebase Auth, NodeJS based Firebase functions, written in Typescript and the Firebase Firestore for sideband data. The Admin UI will be using React Material-UI and the firebase-SDK

Requirements

• Experience with NodeJS based JavaScript and TypeScript development with a solid knowledge of JavaScript / Typescript.

• Experience in building Typescript React-baed web applications using the latest standards-based approaches.

• Demonstrable knowledge the Firebase Platform

• Experience with Shopify API and Platform or with other Headless E-commerce Platforms

• Experience with integrating with third-party SaaS platforms such as Twilio, SMTP.com, Mailchimp and others.

• Experience with modern Analytics and Crash Reporting Tools such as Google Analytics, Crashlytics, New Relic and Bugsnag

• Able to effectively communicate across teams and roles, we work remotely across multiple timezones flexible, timely communication is required.

• Familiarity with Jira and Slack a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communications

• A self-starter who is passionate about building world-class applications

• Ability to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team development environment

• Experience with JavaScript unit testing frameworks is Prefered
